Fernando Maquieira Print E-mail
Born October 13, 1966, in Puertollano (Ciudad Real), Spain. Lives and works in Madrid, Spain.  He had his first contact with photography when he was 15 years old. He started working as an assistant in the studio of Fernando Gordillo, a photographer who belongs to the "School of Madrid" ("Escuela de Madrid") movement.

1992-96
Works in Zen, a graphic design studio directed by Manuel López Parras and Francisco Udina.  1997
Begins to freelance integrating photography and graphic design.   Since 2001
Directs Cromotex's digital studio, a prepress company situated within the vanguards of research and development in new digital processes.
